It got quite warm around here yesterday — and it can be seen in my electricity consumption — but a cool front came through last night, and forecasts are suggesting that daytime highs will be in the 70s (mostly), and nighttime lows will be in the 50s (again, mostly) through next weekend.

The warmer temperatures have arrived — the folks on the radio have even been warning that we have been (and will be) flirting with record highs — but my electricity consumption has barely gone up.

It stayed in single digits in the last 24 hours.

If the forecasters are correct, it will be hard to tell today is the first day of November.

Forecasts are calling for a temperature of 87° today (and 88° tomorrow) so I may need to run my air conditioner late in the day.

But, lately, I have seen an extremely reduced rate of electricity consumption. Yesterday's meter reading was 6663, and today's reading is 6670.
