Yesterday was hot but about like the day before, not like the days before that when the humidity had the heat index in triple digits. Perhaps it was my imagination. The heat index seemed a bit lower, and the radio reported a temperature of only 94° when I was driving home.

Last night's low was expected to be around 77°. It was 78° when I woke up.

Maybe it wasn't quite as humid yesterday as it has been. Or maybe the temperature really was cooler than it has been. Anyway, it didn't feel brutally hot when I left the office yesterday afternoon. At one point, the radio said the temperature was 95°.

The temperature probably got into the 90s last night, but by the time I left the office, the skies had clouded up, and we got some rain as I drove home. The temperature dropped into the 80s late in the day.

I don't know exactly what yesterday's high temperature was. I spent most of the day indoors, but my guess would be that it was in the mid–90s. It seemed a little more humid so I would also guess that the heat index got into triple digits.

It seemed a degree or two cooler yesterday than it has been. Perhaps it was the semi–cloudy skies. More likely it was the lower humidity. Anyway, the temperature was around 95° or 96° when I left the office.

In the summer in Texas, the days tend to be mostly the same. It was hot again yesterday. As I was driving home, the radio reported a temperature of 97°. The heat index was probably in triple digits although the humidity level is dropping. The forecast for the weekend indicates temperatures around 96° with heat indices that are only a couple of degrees higher than that.
