The temperature got into the 80s yesterday — or so I am told. It was in the 60s when I went up to the campus, and I was indoors through the afternoon. It was probably in the 70s when I left.
Then, last night, it seemed to drop into the mid–40s. That's more seasonable, I suppose, and I hear it is bringing cooler temperatures to the area.
I didn't know what this would do to my electricity consumption, but, apparently, the answer is "not much." In fact, it appears to have dropped a bit.
This morning's reading is between 8189 and 8190. Yesterday's reading was 8183. My usage in the last 24 hours was 6½ kWh.
The reading on Wednesday was between 8174 and 8175 so my usage for that 24–hour period was 8½ kWh. That's a drop of about 24%.
