Forecasters told us the warm spell would come to an end by the middle of this week, and they were right. The temperature was in the mid–60s yesterday, but 50s are expected for the rest of the week.
It was colder last night than it has been for the last several nights, but apparently it wasn't quite as cold as expected. Forecasters said the temperature would be in the mid–30s; it was 38° when I woke up.
This morning's meter reading is between 29698 and 29699. Yesterday's reading was 29687. Consumption was 11½ kWh.
