Yesterday's temperature apparently got into the mid–90s, which would account for a slight increase in kWh usage.
Yesterday's meter reading was 5997. This morning's reading is 6017, which means my consumption was right at 20 kWh — a little higher than it has been but, frankly, much lower than I would have expected under typical early September conditions in north Texas.
