Yesterday was warm, probably in the upper 80s. I don't think we set a record for the date, but we probably got close.
They say we'll get close today, too. The latest forecasts say it will reach 90° today, then start cooling off tomorrow.
Last night's low was expected to be 64°. It was 70° when I woke up.
This morning's meter reading is between 18945 and 18946. Yesterday's reading was 18933 so electricity consumption in the last 24 hours was 12½ kWh. That is nearly 79% higher than the day before, and it is 92% higher than this day last year.
I am eager to return to more seasonable temperatures.
