If we were lucky, yesterday will be the last 90° day of this year. The radio reported that the temperature when I left the office was 94° — but it got up to 98° earlier in the afternoon. They said we set a record for the date.
Last night's low was predicted to be in the low 70s. It was 75° when I woke up.
This morning's meter reading is 18795. Yesterday's reading was 18774. My consumption in the last 24 hours was 21 kWh, nearly 2½ times my consumption level in the previous 24 hours and more than double my consumption on this date in 2013.
