I don't believe it got quite as warm yesterday as the forecasters expected — but it was warmer than it has been. The radio reported a temperature of 85° when I left the office.
Last night's low was expected to be around 71°. It was 72° when I woke up this morning.
This morning's meter reading is 18774. Conditions made it hard to read the meter yesterday, but I really do think it was between 18765 and 187666. Consumption was 8½ kWh. That is 19% lower than the previous 24 hours, but it is more than 20% higher than this date a year ago.
