October 25, 2014

Yesterday was warm but not hot. Today and tomorrow are likely to be different stories.

The forecasters are saying we might set a record for a daytime high today. The record for this date is 89°. The forecast says we'll hit 90°.

We'll flirt with a record tomorrow, too, they say. The record is 92°. The current forecast says we'll be at 89°. Then it is supposed to drop — not dramatically but noticeably.

Last night's low was expected to be 64°. It was 66° when I got up.

This morning's meter reading is 18933. Yesterday's reading was 18926. Consumption in the last 24 hours was 7 kWh. That's nearly 17% higher than the previous 24 hours, and it is the same as this day in 2013.
