May is getting off to a cool start — but it is deceptive because warmer weather is on the horizon.
Yesterday's high was around 68°. The low last night was supposed to be in the mid–40s. It was 47° when I got up.
The forecasters expect us to be back in the 80s by this weekend and into next week.
This morning's meter reading is 15924. Yesterday's reading was 15917. My usage in the last 24 hours has been 7 kWh. That is nearly 17% higher than the previous 24 hours, but it is nearly 7% lower than my consumption on this date in 2013.
