Yesterday was warmer than expected. Forecasts called for highs in the upper 70s, but NOAA reported a temperature of 81° in the midafternoon, and some meteorologists reported the temperature reaching 84° or 85°.
Last night's low was expected to be another cool one. NOAA called for a low of 55°. It was 57° when I woke up today.
This morning's meter reading is 16031. Yesterday's reading was between 16023 and 16024. My consumption in the last 24 hours was 7½ kWh, which is an increase of 25% compared to yesterday's consumption, but it is nearly 12% lower than my usage on this day in 2013.
