I think Friday was a lot like Thursday — temperature in the low 90s, heat index in the upper 90s. According to the forecasters, the actual temperature will be in the upper 90s, possibly by tomorrow but almost certainly by Monday and Tuesday, which means the heat index is bound to be in triple digits.
It is definitely summer in Dallas, but it isn't quite as bad as it has been in the past. Not yet, anyway.
Last night's low was expected to be in the mid– to upper 70s. It was 79° when I woke up.
This morning's meter reading is 25106. Yesterday's reading was 25078. My consumption was 28 kWh.
