Once again, I do not know if we reached triple digits yesterday. I only know it was hot. We must have come close if we didn't actually get there. The forecasters seem pretty confident we will get there today and probably tomorrow.
It's mostly a psychological thing. I mean, there really is no significant difference between an actual temperature of 99° and 100° — only a single degree. A reading of 100° just seems to be so much hotter than 99°.
Last night's low was expected to be around 80°. It was 82° (with a heat index of 85°).
This morning's meter reading is between 25749 and 25750. Yesterday's reading was 25702. My consumption was 47½ kWh.
