I don't know if the temperature broke into triple digits yesterday because I spent most of the day indoors. When I left the office, the radio said the temperature was 99° so my guess is that the temperature probably did hit 100° at some point during the day.
It seems to be practically a sure thing that we will experience triple digits today — and if the actual temperature doesn't reach 100°, the heat index certainly will. Yesterday's heat index was 106° according to the radio.
Last night's low was expected to be in the upper 70s, but it was still 90° at 11 p.m. It was 82° when I woke up.
This morning's meter reading is 25231. Yesterday's reading was between 25193 and 25194. My consumption was 37½ kWh.
