July 17, 2015

It's getting hard to distinguish one day from the next around here — which is typical for this time of year. It's mid–July in Texas, and it is hot. I don't know how hot it was yesterday. Probably upper 90s.

Triple–digit readings — or close to it — are predicted for the coming week. I guess we have been fortunate that this summer hasn't been one long string of 100–degree days, but we always know that days like that will come around here. The fact that we haven't had one up to this point is encouraging — I guess.

Last night's low was expected to be 78°. It was 80° when I woke up.

This morning's meter reading is 25339. Yesterday's reading was 25306. My consumption was 33 kWh.
