Yesterday's high was supposed to be in the upper 50s. It was warmer than that — 62° — when I checked the conditions around 5 p.m. It was very windy, though, which made it feel a bit cooler.
Last night's low was supposed to be in the upper 30s. I know the heat came on a few times during the night so maybe it got that cold. It was 40° when I got up.
Milder nights are in the forecast for the weekend.
This morning's meter reading is 15528. Yesterday's reading was between 15516 and 15517. That's 11½ kWh used in the last 24 hours — an increase of more than 64% over the previous 24 hours, and it is more than double my consumption on this date a year ago.
