Yesterday was considerably warmer than the day before. The high temperature was in the low 60s, and last night's low was expected to be roughly 45°.
The temperature was 49° when I got up this morning so maybe it didn't get quite as cold as predicted. And, as of this morning, the forecast high for today is 80°.
I was hopeful my electricity consumption would drop — and it did, a lot more than I expected.
This morning's meter reading is between 15614 and 15615. Yesterday's reading was 15597 so my consumption was 17½ kWh. That is a drop of more than 52% compared to the previous 24 hours, but it is more than twice my consumption on this date a year ago.
