I was in the campus newsroom all afternoon so I don't know if it got a lot warmer, but I know that at 7 p.m. it was 75°.
The low was expected to be 58°. It might not have been quite that low, though. The temperature was 62° when I got up this morning.
Today's high is supposed to be in the mid–60s followed by a low in the mid–40s, which is roughly the pattern we can expect through Wednesday.
This morning's meter reading is 15640. Yesterday's reading was between 15632 and 15633. That's 7½ kWh in the last 24 hours. That is actually 50% higher than the previous 24 hours, and it is more than 15% higher than this date in 2013.
