Today's reading is 2983, which means I used slightly more than 30 kWh since the last time I checked my meter.
That isn't surprising. Memorial Day in north Texas was toasty, and my air conditioning ran quite a bit, even though I kept it set around 80° — that's what will happen when the outside temperature is in the mid–90s.
More of the same is expected today and tomorrow, but the weather forecasters are sticking with their prediction that Thursday and Friday will see temperatures in the mid–80s (and, supposedly, Thursday night's low will be around 58°).
I hope so. I would like to see my electricity consumption drop for a couple of days before we plunge into the seemingly endless blisteringly hot days of summer.
